This retrospective exhibition features extensively the art of Carmelo Mangion (1905-1997) who is one of Malta's leading pioneers of Modern Art. He left behind a rich patrimony exemplifying a modernist zeal and a creative vision.
A unique opportunity to witness the artist at work in his raw element, where earthy materials meet fire and pigment. An immersive experience beside Xagħra's prehistoric heritage, complemented by Agius' contemporary ceramic forms and tactile, abstracted earth paintings.
