An exhibition displaying sixty figurines depicting salient moments from the final days of the Passion of the Christ. These works of art were carved in clay by local artist Manwel Gauci. The figurines, commissioned by Ezechiel Grima, are set against periodical scenery built by the artist.
Rupert Cefai’s latest collection of works deals with everyday scenes of rituals that border between the spiritual and the mundane. The works reflect a human tendency to do everyday things with religious solemnity and sometimes treat religious rites as everyday occurrences.
