Statue Unveiling! On the 18th of June at the Nadur Basilica, we will mark the beginning of our feast celebrations in honour of Saints Peter and Paul. A march by the Prekursur Band of Xewkija will take place, accompanied by the statue of Saint John the Baptist (1912), which will then be placed on the pedestal near the primary school. At the end of the march, the ground fireworks display titled Nativitas24 will begin.

The procession will feature musical accompaniment by the Banda Prekursur, together with a choir made up of children of the parish (Ulied il-Battista), including tenor, baritone, and mezzo-soprano voices. During the procession and the return of the statue to the church, there will be fireworks displays and a colourful pyrotechnic show.
