Il-Ħaġar Museum is pleased to announce the programme of events marking the 13th anniversary of its inauguration, and celebrating the life and legacy of the Maltese Islands’ foremost contemporary composer Joseph Vella on the 8th anniversary of his demise.

A solemn Thanksgiving High Mass will be celebrated by the Museum’s Founder and Curator, Mgr Dr Joseph Farrugia, at St George’s Basilica. The liturgy will feature the participation of the Laudate Pueri Choir under the direction of Can. George J. Frendo. This celebration serves as a spiritual centrepiece of the anniversary week, offering thanksgiving for the Museum’s mission, its benefactors, and the enduring legacy of Joseph Vella.
