If you happen to be in Gozo, the feast of St. George, celebrated on the third Sunday of July. The day begins with a High Mass in the Basilica, followed by a lively morning march featuring the enthusiastic participation of young people and two local wind bands, playing joyful tunes.

As evening approaches, the statue of St. George is reverently brought out in a procession, carried at shoulder height, and paraded through the streets of Victoria. Along the procession route, magnificent firework displays light up the sky from Gelmus Hill, adding to the spectacle and creating a truly memorable experience.
