We’re launching Qawsalla Fridays — our hub will now open after hours once a month on Friday nights as Gozo’s only dedicated LGBTQIA+ space. A place to relax, connect, and just be you.

This inter-generational event provides an opportunity to connect, talk and share your personal stories. We have some queer elders who will be recounting their coming out stories. This is a great opportunity for younger members of the community to gain perspective on local LGBTI+ history. Anybody young or old is encouraged to contribute their own experiences. Alternatively if you are not up to sharing you can just come and listen.  Nowadays do young LGBTI+ individuals still need to come out or has gender fluidity changed the way we tell the world who we are? Is there still a need? Let’s discuss!

Everyone is welcome – allies too including family members, friends and supporters of Gozo’s LGBTI+ community! You do not need to me a member of the community to attend as long as you are respectful and aware that this is a safe space.

There will be free nibbles to partake of and drinks against a donation. Alternatively you may bring your own beverages and munchies with you.
