Village feats are the calendar of Gozo’s Summer. Experience the sight, sounds and tastes of a typical village feast; this weekend in the village of Qala. Discover the beauty of the parish Church in all its splendour; a living monument of the villagers love for their patron saint. Visitors will surely enjoy the festive tunes of the local wind bands and the chanting of youths to the local hymns. The fireworks will be a feast to the eye.

In the evening, the procession starts from the parish church and the statue of St Joseph will be carried out at shoulder height along the main streets of Qala accompanied by the confraternities and the local wind band. A splendid firework display will take place as the statue will be returning back to church!!
