The Marċ ta’ Simirat, taking place on the 28th of August 2025, promises an evening of vibrant cultural celebration in Għajnsielem. The festivities begin with a Pre-Party at 19:30, followed by the march at 21:00 from Triq Simirat, featuring performances by the San Ġużepp Għajnsielem Band and the Santa Margherita Sannat Band. At 23:00, the Madonna tad-Dar will be placed on her pedestal in Pjazza Indipendenza, marking a significant moment in the evening. The celebrations continue at 23:15 with an audiovisual feature in Pjazza Madonna ta’ Loreto, honouring the living heritage that unites the community. At 23:30, the sky will light up during the “Notte di Colori” firework and light show, with synchronized music, lights, and confetti outside the kazin, followed by an energetic After Party to end the night on a high note.
