LGBTI+ Gozo at the Gozo Marathon 2026!

This year LGBTI+ Gozo will be taking part in Il-Ġirja t’Għawdex: Run Gozo on 26th April 2026 — and we’d love for you to join us!
No matter your fitness level, there’s something for everyone. You can take part in:
• Half Marathon
• 10K Race
• 5K Race
• 10K Walkathon
• 5K Walkathon
• Family Runs
• Kids Runs

Each participant pays an entrance fee directly to the event organisers (Il-Ġirja t’Għawdex) to cover the organisation of the marathon.

If you join Team LGBTI+ Gozo, we’ll provide you with t-shirts, hats , stickers  and bracelets.

We’ll also be running and walking to raise funds for our free counselling programme to help assist community members their families, and friends, so we encourage you to share this with your friends and family and ask them to sponsor your run or walk.

Community Training SessionsIn the run-up to the event, Pierre, one of our community members, will facilitate two gentle training meet-ups. on the 11.04.26 and 18.04.26 These sessions are about building community, supporting each other, and getting to know one another before the big day.

Dates: Saturday 11th, and 18th April Time: 10:00am (max 2 hours)
We meet in Marsalforn (see map)

You do not need to be fit or experienced to take part — you can walk or run at your own pace.
