To mark the 50th anniversary of the crowning of the Cathedral’s titular statue and the 75th anniversary of the proclamation of the Dogma of the Assumption, we proudly present L-Apoteosi Tal-Assunta, an extraordinary oratorio in two parts. This monumental work celebrates faith, devotion, and musical artistry, weaving together sacred texts, powerful choruses, and moving orchestral passages.

The performance will feature four distinguished soloists, the renowned Cappella Sanctae Mariae Assumptae choir, and the Malta Philharmonic Orchestra, all under the masterful direction of Joseph Debrincat. Audiences can expect a breathtaking journey through rich harmonies, stirring melodies, and dramatic expressions of devotion, capturing both the spiritual significance of the Assumption and the enduring cultural heritage of our Cathedral.
