Il-Ħajja f’Għawdex Foundation will be holding its second conference on Saturday, 8 November 2025, from 10:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. at the Parish Centre Hall in Għarb.

This year’s theme will reflect on the legacy of Monsignor Nikol Ġużeppi Cauchi (1929–2010) as Bishop of Gozo, particularly in the context of the Second Vatican Council (1962–1965). The event also commemorates the 15th anniversary of Bishop Cauchi’s passing and the 60th anniversary of the Council’s conclusion.

The conference, which will be conducted in Maltese, will include contributions from several speakers who worked closely with Bishop Cauchi during his ministry. It will conclude with the launch of a new publication featuring writings about him, together with a public appeal for archival material related to his life and work.
