The JP2 Cultural Foundation in full collaboration with the Xewkija Local Council and the Rotunda Parish Church of Xewkija are commemorating the 20^th anniversary from the International Priest Convention which took place in 2004. This convention apart the discussions and talks gave the opportunity of a number of priests to visit Gozo. On the 22^nd October 2004 the 1000 priests which attended the convention gathered in the Rotunda Church and had their last session of the symposium.

After 20 years, between the 20^th and 22^nd of October 2024, this event is being remembered with a number of Cultural Activities.

Sunday 20^th October 2024, inauguration of an art exhibition by local artist at the Sculpture’s Museum with in the Rotunda Church in Xewkija. The exhibition will be open till the 3^rd November 2024 during church opening hours.

Monday 21^st October 2024, one of St. Peter’s Basilica, Vatican organist Mro Gianluca Libertucci will be giving an organ recital at the Rotunda Church. He will be accompanied by Mro Gianpiero Cristaldi trumpeter from the Military Band of Rome. The event will start at 7.00pm.

Tuesday 22^nd October 2024 at 8.30am, the Rosa Magro Primary School Xewkija students will participate in a Mass at the Rotunda. While 6.00pm a High Mass will take place at the church animated by the Parish Children’s Choir “Ulied il-Battista”. At 7.00pm the AFM “Malta Military Band” will give a recital on the Church terrace to commemorate this event.
