Gendered Racism Workshop and Evaluation

Want to build your knowledge of gendered racism? Join an EU-funded project for Allegories on Racism Manifestations Workshops! We invite you to participate in this valuable initiative aimed at empowering your entity with the knowledge and skills needed to better support gender and racial minorities in our community. In this workshop, you will provide feedback on the effectiveness of two educational manuals, enhance your understanding of gender discrimination and racial inequality across EU societies, and learn practical approaches to counteract gender- and race-based inequalities. You will also deepen your awareness of how racism intersects with gender stereotypes, explore nuances such as internalised racism, gender-based violence (GBV), and microaggressions, examine mental health repercussions and related risk and protective factors—particularly for youths—and gain tools for using advocacy and activism to challenge racism. Policy makers, social justice advocates, project managers, youth workers, activists, and individuals working closely with gender or racial minorities are encouraged to attend and help spread the word.
