9:00am: Conventual concelebrated Mass presided over by Mons. Ġużeppi Gauci, with the participation of the Chapter and clergy of the Basilica, offered for the souls of past spiritual shepherds and priests who served within the St George’s parish community.
5:30pm: The final Mass of the day.
6:30pm: Solemn Vespers sung by the Chapter of the Collegiate Church together with the liturgical assembly, presided over by Can. Emanuel Buttigieg.
Homily by Fr Noel Debono.
Followed by: Hymn, Antiphon, and Eucharistic Benediction by Can. Simon M. Cachia, Parish Priest of the Sacred Heart Parish, Fontana.
8:30pm: Band march by the St Catherine Band (Żurrieq), invited through the initiative of the St George’s Feast Decorations Committee, from St George’s Square to Republic Street.
9:00pm: Band march by the St George’s Band (Ħal Qormi) in St Francis Square.
9:30pm: Triumphal procession with the statue of St George, Patron of Gozo (2008), a work by Michael Camilleri Cauchi, with the participation of the St George’s Band and the St Catherine Band. The procession will proceed from St Francis Square to Savina Square, concluding with the inauguration of the marble cladding and decorative project of the monumental pedestal.
Midnight: Audiovisual show synchronized with fireworks in Savina Square, presented by the La Stella Youth Group.
