Saturday 30th August marks the conclusion of the Solemn Triduum. The day begins at 9:00am with a pontifical concelebration led by Archpriest Can Frankie Bajada, featuring the ‘Te Deum’ hymn. In the evening, at 5:30pm, Ghajnsielem’s St Joseph Band performs marches from Cordina Street, followed by a solemn procession of the Relic at 6:15pm, accompanied by religious orders and the Brotherhood of the Blessed Sacrament. Vespers are celebrated at 7:00pm by Can. Joe Cardona, followed by an 8:00pm Mass by Dun Gabriel Gauci. A band march by Xewkija’s Prekursur starts at 8:30pm, and the traditional “Marċ ta’ lejlet il-festa” begins at 9:00pm from Ħamri Street. The evening ends with a synchronized fireworks display by Sinfonia Del Sole at 11:30pm.
