Step into the colourful world of costume design at Behind the Curtain: Costume Workshop, a fun and creative 2-hour session designed especially for children aged 8 – 10. Held at the Astra Theatre on the 20th of November, this workshop offers a playful introduction to how costumes help bring stories and characters to life on stage. With the guidance of friendly theatre artists, children will explore how costumes are used in performances — from the colours and shapes to the materials and movement. Through a variety of hands-on activities, they’ll get to experiment with ideas, sketch simple designs, play with fabrics, and use their imagination to explore what makes a costume special.
