The Universal Church will celebrate the Liturgical Feast of Pope Saint John Paul II, who, 35 years ago, celebrated the first Papal Mass ever held in the Maltese Islands on the parvis of the Ta’ Pinu Basilica. This year also marks the 20th anniversary of his passing. A Eucharistic Celebration will be held to commemorate this significant occasion.
